In order to understand the nuances, patterns and trends of women in Nepali politics, it is critical to identify the relationship among demographic, social and political variables. Through data collected on key social, demographic and political variables from the most recent elections of Nepal, relevant information has been distilled and organized into graphs, plots and tables. Key social or demographic variables that have been examined include; age, ethnicity, mother tongue and education. Political variables include; political party, election type, years in political engagement and political commitment. When applicable, these variable have been cross sectioned into the three levels of government; Provincial, Federal and National.
